About this site
This is an art portfolio of Wai Khan Au.
Bio
Wai Khan, also nicknamed Winkie by friends and family, was born in Hong Kong and caught in a state of lack of national identity, she was forced to move to Edmonton, AB, Canada in grade seven. She hasn't been drawing at all until later in life (note: she is in her 20s). She discovered during university that she has a bigger passion for drawing than computing science, as evident by spending more time drawing than studying. She likes to tell stories through pictures that are a mix of the real world and the fantasy world.
She graduated from Grant MacEwan's Design and Illustration Diploma in 2008 which gave her the fundamental skills in illustrations. She looks forward to build her career in the field of illustration.
